Description:
Aervoe's Crown Red Insulating Varnish provides a tough industrial strength oil and waterproof coating to insulate electrical equipment and components. Provides outstanding adhesion to a variety of surfaces and contains an epoxy ester resin that is thermal rated class F.

Benefits:
The flexible nature of this product, in a cured film, provides insulating protection while allowing for heat expansion and contraction. Red Insulating Varnish is highly resistant to oils, moisture, and temperature fluctuations. The cured coating is rated at 4,000 v/mil. Dries to the touch in 10 minutes. Dries to handle in 45 minutes.

Application:
Use to protect electrical leads, coat frayed insulation and to restore dielectric properties lost from frictional wear. Additional uses are to insulate and seal out moisture from armature windings, high voltage circuits, for coating electrical windings that are exposed to moisture repeatedly.

Directions:
Remove all loose dirt, dust, grease, wax, and rust particles from surface to be coated. For best results, apply at temperatures between 60º and 80ºF (16º and 27ºC). Two light coats are better than one heavy coat. Shake can vigorously for one minute. Hold can 12 to 14 inches from surface to be sprayed. The darkness of the colour indicates the thickness of the coating. To prevent clogging, turn can upside down and spray for approximately three seconds to clear varnish in valve.
