DESCRIPTION

Rio Mare Solid Light Tuna in Olive Oil

For over 50 years Rio Mare has stood for excellence. It's taste is unmistakable. Soaked in pure extra virgin olive oil, its taste is rich and hearty and its texture is soft and moist.

It's greatest distinction however is that it lacks the typical fishy flavor of most canned tuna. No need to cut its flavor with mayonnaise or lemon. Enjoy straight out of the can.

No can opener is required. It's pull-top can makes it a convenient snack for hikers, backpackers, campers, kids in school, athletes, office workers, or anybody on the go.

Rio Mare conducts sustainable fishing and is conscious of its responsibility to the oceans' natural habitats and environment. Rio Mare subjects its tuna to a double cleaning process, performed entirely by hand.

We register the origin of all products, ingredients and packaging using a sophisticated tracking system, which enables us to reconstruct the story of each can and to cross-reference the data, analyses and controls conducted on each product across the supply chain.

Our traceability system is certified in accordance with the ISO 22005 standard 'Traceability system in agricultural and food chains'
