It has a large face and a very easy to read display, it's lightweight so you barely realize you're wearing a watch, it's tough and durable, it has a rugged look to it, it's blacked out which is awesome because that means I'm allowed to wear it on duty in the military as well as on my own time. It's the perfect MAN watch!I have had this watch (G-Shock GA100-1A1) a few months now and I wear it every day. I'm in the military and I train in it, sleep in it, swim in it, get dirty in it, etc. My watches get put to the test on a daily basis and I haven't had an issues with any G-Shock watch and this one is my favorite so far. It has been completely reliable and looks great. I use the alarm to wake me up. I use the timers when working out to see my progress and time myself doing exercises. When overseas I can program my current local time and there's another view to see what the time is back home. I use the LED backlight button to see the time when it's dark or on night missions.I have a lot of G-Shock watches but this is my favorite one so far.
