The grey is a nice color with a subtle pattern. Generous pockets. Great price! Could be improved: Soft brushed texture on both sides would help it grip the mattress better and would give you the softer side against your skin on the flat sheet. We've used it on a memory foam mattress and over a terry cloth textured mattress cover so we haven't had the slipping that a smoother traditional mattress would have. We do experience a little loosening and bunching around day 2-3 and need to retuck and tighten. As for the flat sheet, the texture of the underside would catch and snag my feet and fingers where my skin was dry and I almost gave up on them until I realized it was just the underside that was different. So we now use the top sheet flipped over with the soft side against our skin and it feels great.I don't feel they sleep any hotter than cotton. So I am a very picky bedding buyer. I got these at Walmart just because we didn't have any sheets-- it was a sheet emergency! I got them in white and thought we'll see what happens, at least they're affordable. These sheets (we got them in a king size) are PERFECT. They are beautiful, they fit wonderfully (plenty of space and elastic to fit on our huge mattress), they do not feel too hot (a concern, given that they are polyester), but they fit wonderfully soft, like satin. They wash super well- do not pill, stains come out.I could not ask for better, good quality and AFFORDABLE sheets. I have normally paid 80 to 100 for exe quality feeling sheets. These sheets feel better then those and it doesn't stop there. Unfortunately accidents can occur with our guest to the sheets. We have had to put them to taste through the wash and OMG like they look like the day I took them out of their package. Needless to say every bed in our home aside from our Vacation rental now also has these sheets. Love, love, love them!!!!!!!!!! Then the price, who every would of thought I could get this quality at these prices!
