Holmes Group HWF80-U "W" Filter for Use with Wemo Smart Humidifier
Evaporative cool mist humidifiers use wick filters to operate effectively. This triple layer humidifier filter helps control dust and dirt build-up and helps prevent impurities from spreading by passing water through the filter. It is also treated with an antimicrobial agent to inhibit the growth of mold, mildew and odor-causing bacteria on the surface of the filter only.
The harder the water, the shorter the filter life. This is because minerals will get trapped in the filter over time and cause the filter to lose its ability to wick. We recommend you replace your filter every 4-6 weeks, depending on usage and hardness of water. Your WeMo Humidifier has a filter indicator both on the humidifier itself and through the WeMo App so that you know when it is time to change your filters.

Microban protection is an Antimicrobial agent that is used to treat the wick filter and the base of the humidifier. Microban product protection helps inhibit the growth of odor-causing bacteria, mold and mildew.
With the Wemo App you will receive alerts when it is time to order new filters right on your smart phone or smart device. Ordering filters is easy with the link directly through the WeMo App.
