This beautiful sphere is made from ancient fossils; and is from Pakistan. The plastic stand is included. The process of making spheres is very complicated. The raw material must first be cut into a cube; and then each corner must be cut. Then the piece is put into a machine that creates spheres which takes a number of hours depending on the size of the sphere. It begins with a heavy grit and then finer until after hours it can be polished.
