I scrub a little and then leave the scrub on for a few minutes--as a mask. My skin feels clean and refreshed. The mint is a bit like a milder spearmint. Many charcoal products don't smell very good. It smells amazing, feels great and cooling on my skin & leaves my skin baby smooth! It also seemed to lighten my elbows and knees as well as smoothing them. Also I used my favorite smelling shower gel afterwards & I swear I smell the fragrance MORE than before - it really does detoxify the skin!
