Instantly refreshes with a rejuvenating effect for smoother and more luminous skin. Velvet flower has soothing, astringent and cleansing properties. Velvet Flower seeds are rich in amino acids, vitamin C and B and minerals that bring luminescence, give comfort to the skin and enhance its natural moisture. Malakite provides dual-action protection through direct cell detoxification and regeneration of the cell's natural defence system. Research has shown that Mala'kite enhances the activity of antioxidants in the skin by enhancing the activity of glutathione, a tri-peptide considered to be the main cellular antioxidant. It also works to defend the skin cells from environmental stress and increases production of elastin and collagen. This Works was founded by International Journalist and Beauty Expert Kathy Phillips in 2003, and was inspired by her global knowledge of the health and beauty industry and her desire to create natural products that deliver on their promise. We do not use unnecessary chemicals in our formulations including: phthalates, sulphates, synthetic colours and fragrance, parabens, GMOs, mineral oils, petrolatum, propylene glycol. None of our raw materials are tested on animals. We use organically grown plants whenever possible. All of our tubes and bottles are recyclable.
