After all, I am a huge Crest fan and always will be. I have had a lot of issues with my teeth becoming more sensitive the last few years so when I saw this product would whiten my teeth, protect them AND be gentle.... I was excited! I like that it cleans efficiently and dissolves like toothpaste should in the mouth. It is a bit gritty like some have said but it did not bother me that much and it left my mouth feeling clean and refreshed. What I didn't like though was it was not as minty strong like other toothpastes so it didn't really leave my breath with a minty smell which I missed. It also has a bad after taste and left me feeling extra thirsty that doesn't go away for some time even after eating/drinking which is a huge turn off for me. All in all, I remained on the fence with the hope the after taste would go away. I'll keep using it and see if it just takes time for the taste to go away or how long but I most likely won't buy it again. Recent research has found that sodium fluoride interferes with insulin regulation. That is something none of us needs. So I searched extensively to find a toothpaste with stannous fluoride that is not loaded with all kinds of other garbage chemicals. This Crest PH Advanced is the only one I found. For some people stannous fluoride has been associated with harmless but unattractive staining of surface of your teeth. But this crest toothpaste is said to be formulated to reduce or even eliminate staining. I have been using it for some time and have not had any staining. The only negative thing I can say is that I will do more research on the ingredients being as a close friend shared with me that Crest uses BEEF FAT as an ingredient. If that is the case? I will not purchase this product. I hope she is wrong....
