My only issue is that the strips do not adhere very well to my skin. I bought the gel version locally while waiting for my package of strips to arrive. The gel is a fine "delivery method" for the silicone. I thought the strips would deliver a more consistent amount of silicone to my scar. However, getting the strips to stick to my skin has proven to be quite difficult. It's also painstaking having to wash the strips and alternate between sets of clean/dry strips. I'm using the strips because I didn't want to return a partially used product, nor did I want to throw away the product. However, moving forward I will use only the gel product. I have been using Scar Away Long by my Dermatologist recommendation and the length of my scar. I wear the strips 24/7 , except when I shower. It has been only six weeks but my scars look amazing. The scars are thin, flat and a light pink. Usually , my scars are dark purple and raised at six weeks I will continue to use the scar sheets for two more months. Walmart online is the cheapest place to purchase Scar Away. Also, you may not wash with a a soap with moisturizer. Ivory or Safeguard Anti are recommended.
