The color was exactly what I wanted it to be, a nice navy blue, but the formula is awful! For one, it settles into lines. I do not have wrinkles, however, when I swatched the eyeliner on my hand it immediately settles into every line. If you have wrinkles it will definitely settle into them. Another thing I didn't like is the fact that it takes multiple swipes to get a solid line, or else it'll be transparent. And worst of all, It STAINS your eyes! I've tried many long lasting products such as waterproof mascara, liquid lipstick, lip/cheek stains, etc. Never have I had a product that will not come off even after using oils (coconut and olive). I was finally able to get most of it off with my Thayer's Alcohol-Free Witch Hazel Toner, but I'm not going regularly use toner on my eyes even if it is alcohol free. Seems like this is a new formula, as every previous negative review seems to complain about it having no staying power at all. I think e.l.f tried to fix this issue, but ended up trading one extreme for another. I've tried many eyeliners in my days. I'm poor. This eyeliner was cheap and I grabbed it as like a "hold-me-over" until I could get more expensive eyeliner. First of all, the felt ink tip thingie was rlly easy to apply. Like, just for that I'm never going back to liquid eyeliner. this pen can do such sharp wings!! So precise!!! Okay, but this intense ink eyeliner in blackest black really surprised me, it is so bold (standing out even against my darkest eyeshadows) and (most importantly) it's waterproof!! Someone I'm these comments said it smudges, and I've never personally experienced that but I guess if you're constantly rubbing your eyes it would. But I have had so many emotional breakdowns in this liner, so much crying (SO much) and it stays put. sometimes I gotta apply extra effort to take it off at night. of course, using setting spray helps it to last longer.
