Our cell phone case is a made of a material that allows you to use your touch screen while it is inside the pouch. This feature will not work if your fingers or the pouch are too wet. The pouch itself is designed to keep out the elements under normal conditions. DO NOT use it as an underwater case, it is not designed for this purpose. Practical uses range from just placing it in our dry bag as added protection, taking a picture at Niagra Falls, a video of a friend landing a trophy Marlin while on a fishing vessel.
In worst case scenarios, our dry bags can be used as a flotation device in the event of capsizing, but does NOT replace a life jacket/preserver.
NOTICE: NextGen dry bags and cell phone pouches are not intended to be fully submerged underwater. NextGen is not responsible or liable for equipment stored inside dry bags and cell phone pouches. Cell phone pouch should be tested before placing electronics inside. Place a piece of paper inside. Make sure each seal is engaged properly. Open and reseal a couple of times to practice. Submerge in the sink for a minute. Remove and check to make sure the paper is dry.
