Mentha piperita

Peppermint was widely used by the ancient Greeks and Romans, and may have been cultivated by the Egyptians. The term ''mint'' is from the Greek Mintha, a mythological nymph transformed into a plant by the goddess Persephone after she learned of her husband Pluto''s love for her. This oil is 100% pure.

It is best to use gloves when dispensing the peppermint oil and make sure you wash your hand before touching your face, especially your eyes. I was prescribed antibiotics and topical medication to treat second degree burns. I am surprised that something that can be so harmful can be sold so easily. At least it should come with a warning.
