3 bottles left sale price to get rid of current stock as emu oil have an average shelf life of 1 to 1.5 year. ( I take 1 year as its shelf life to be on the safer side.) Restocking may take about a month or more, will only place order after the last bottle is sold.
Ordered 62 bottles on Sept 2013 instead of my usual 20 bottles per order to save on shipping cost and discounted price for the emu oil but supplier have sent me May 2013 stock instead of Aug or Sept 2013 stock so felt pressured to sell out current stock as soon as possible as each day pass by i get more worried of unsold stock.
No one like to use near expiring products thus if you are only using on face then don't need to buy many bottles as they are good till 18-19th May 2014 only. (could be longer but anything extra are just bouns) 1 bottle of 30ml emu oil can last me about 2 months if i solely use on face. 1 pump is more than enough for the entire face and neck.
Base on personal experience on usage, those using for sensitive skin (body), eczema, joints pain, bodyache will require much more. Those using for hairfall or haircare can use about 1 bottle per month if apply once per night on scalp only.
Research has shown that emu oil is almost 100% Triglyceride which means that emu oil is nearly a complete neutral lipid. Since emu oil lacks phospholipids and the human skin is phospholipid deficient, the transdermal properties are phenomenal. Thus, when emu oil is mixed with herbs or 100% Pure Essential Oil known for their ability of acting on skin or muscle-joint problems, the results can be extraordinary.
I mixed 10 drops of tea tree oil + 15 drops of lavender oil into a 30ml emu oil as body lotion for sensitive/eczema skin, personally added few drops of 3% rose oil (optional) for its hormones balancing effect. I prefer cold emu oil for its smoothing effect on skin. I will also spray ICM brand"rose water" right before applying emu oil.
I keep my face serum (cold emu oil) neutral, adding 1-2 drops of tea tree oil as and when i needed.
Hairfall mixture can goes with 10-25 drops of tea tree oil depending on how oily your scalp is. Personally use 20drops in 30ml emu oil. I also added peppermint (optional) for its cooling effect. Bend over ur head for 1-4 mins after applying emu oil on your scalp to allow the bloodflow rush towards your scalp. If you have high blood pressure, seek doctor advices before doing.
For bodyache i use 2 pills of Natures Way Cayenne Extra Hot pills disloved emu oil. Ammeltz Yoko Yoko (blue cap) mix with emu oil is also smoothing for bodyaches. If using Yoko Yoko, apply the lotion on sore spots first then rub emu oil on top of the wet spot to deliver the medication deeper into the muscles/bones. Wash your hands after you are done with plenty of soap and water and avoid touching your face/eyes.
