The 1-Gallon TakeAway Medication Recovery System is an ideal solution for the safe collection, return transportation and proper destruction of dispensed unused medications including controlled substances (Schedules II-V). This 1-gallon system meets the requirements of the DEA regulations for ultimate user controlled substances disposal. This UPS mailback system is for use in the hospice, long-term care and other health-care facilities. It can also be used by consumers in the home setting or other ultimate user situations where larger volumes of unused/expired medications have acc.umulated and are in need of safe disposal. This System meets the DEA regulations for ultimate user controlled substances (Schedules II-V) and non-controlled medication disposal (not for use with inventory drugs).
